Anna Liebmann is a basketweaver who lives and works by the sea in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Anna started weaving in her late twenties. She grows a lot of her own willow in Lanarkshire, is a member of the Scottish Basketmakers’ Circle, and has certification for many of her products through Scottish Working Woods. She makes a selection of products to order, takes commissions, has one-off pieces available for sale on her website and smaller pieces in her Etsy shop. She offers private tuition and classes from her own workshop, teaches short courses at Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, Crops in Pots, and other organisations. She teaches ongoing basketry classes at Poldrate Arts and Crafts Centre in Haddington.
